Feng Li

I keep on discovering talented Chinese artists almost every day, which I guess is no surprise when you think about all the things that are happening there. Chengdu based photographer Fen Li's photos are so strong it's hard not to get directly emotionally affected by them and that for me is what separates a great artist from a good one.

I found these photos on Jia Za Zhia a web magazine on poetic Photography in & outside China, plus other Beauties. A great site worthy checking out! Unfortunately Feng Li's personal site seems to be down, but here is the link in case that would change http://www.freepig.fotoyard.net/

Feng Li said this in an Interview for JZZ:

- “if one photo needs explanation, it’s not pure any more, even unsuccessful. Good photos can speak for themselves.”
